Files from any tool
How do FoxFlash files work on a file portal?
FoxFlash reads come to your portal like any other file: one order page, one queue, and the tuned file delivered on the same job.
In short
A FoxFlash read uploads on your portal and lands on one job in your queue. The file is kept as it came, your tuner opens it in your own tool, and the tuned file goes back on the same job.
Why does a file service see FoxFlash files?
Because customers buy the tool that suits their budget and the cars in front of them, and they do not ask their file service first. A file service that only takes one maker's files either turns work away or ends up with a second way of working for everyone else.
How does a FoxFlash customer send a file?
They sign in on your portal, upload the read and choose the work on one page. The portal fills in what the file says, and the customer adds the rest. They see your price before they pay, and they can follow the job from the same page.

What happens to a locked FoxFlash file?
It stays as it came. Decrypting inside the portal is for a master on Alientech or AutoTuner. If your tuner holds the master for that file, they open it in that tool, tune it and upload the result to the job. If nobody on your team can open it, tell the customer before they pay: the conversation is on the job, and you can reject the request with a reason instead of leaving them waiting.
What should you ask a new customer?
Which tool they have, and whether it is a slave tied to another master. A slave file can only be opened by its own master, so that one question saves both of you time. The tool is already on the order page, so you can see it on every job.
Questions
Will FoxFlash files work in the same queue as everything else?
Yes. There is one queue, whichever tool the file came from.
Can I turn away files I cannot open?
Yes. You can talk to the customer on the job, or reject the request with a reason.
Does the customer need to install anything?
No. The portal runs in the browser, on a phone or a computer.
