    Guides

How a job moves through your portal.

From the customer's request to the tuned file and the money in, one question at a time.

    1. How does a customer send a new file request?Your customer signs in to your portal, uploads the read and the portal fills in the car, the ECU and its numbers from the file. They pick the tool and the work, see your price, pay if you ask for payment first, and are told by email, WhatsApp or Telegram when the tuned file is ready.
    2. What does the portal read from an ECU file?Every upload is read for the ECU family, the hardware number and the software number, and the portal fills in the car from them before anybody opens the job. The same numbers find a file your team tuned before, so a repeat car can go out at once.
    3. How does a tuner get a job, and who gives it out?Every job lands in one queue that sorts itself, with Express and Urgent jobs on top and their turnaround target. The owner or an admin sees first which jobs have no tuner yet and gives each one out, and every tuner sees only what their job needs.
    4. Do KESS3 and AutoTuner files need decrypting?Only when they are locked. A plain bench, boot or OBD read goes straight to your tuner, and an Alientech or AutoTuner file is decrypted only if it is locked, on your own vendor account, then packed back for the customer's tool.
    5. How is the tuned file delivered to the customer?Your tuner uploads the tuned file on the job and the portal delivers it, with a tuning certificate and a dyno sheet in your brand. The customer is told by email, WhatsApp or Telegram and downloads everything from their side of your portal.
    6. What happens when a customer needs a correction? The customer writes on the job itself, so the question arrives with the car, the ECU and the file beside it. Your tuner uploads the revised file on the same job, and the whole history stays in one place.
    7. How do customers pay before the file?Switch on payment first and a file request goes through only once it is paid: by card for the job, or from a credit wallet with bonus credits on bigger packs. The money lands straight in your own payment account, and every payment is invoiced in your name with the right VAT.
    8. How does a repeat file go out at once?Every file your team finishes is kept in your own library, found by its software, hardware and ECU. When the same software comes back for the same work, the portal sends that file after checks, with a 24 hour undo, so the repeat job takes seconds.
    9. How do I start an ECU file service online?Open your own portal on Start, with nothing to pay a month, at yourname.tunerengine.com or your own domain. Customers upload their reads and pay you, your tuners deliver, and you pay only for the files you receive in the first months.
