Terms for businesses.

These terms are the agreement between your business and TUNING DATABASE SRL for the TunerEngine service. Clauses 9 and 13 are shown apart and accepted expressly and separately when you sign up.

1. 1. Who we are

   TunerEngine is a service of TunerEngine is made by TUNING DATABASE SRL, CUI 55425106, Reg. Com. J2026049785007, Leordeni, Argeș, Romania. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. 2. Who these terms are for

   TunerEngine is sold to businesses only. By signing up you confirm that you act for a business and that you may bind it to these terms.

3. 3. The service

   A hosted portal for an ECU file business, in your name: your customers order and pay, your team delivers, your dealers run portals of their own if your plan has them. The features are those described on this site on the day you sign up. We host the portal, back it up every day and keep it updated.

4. 4. Plans, add-ons and the price list

   You choose a plan and any add-ons in the basket. The prices are those of the price list published on the pricing page on the day you sign up. Any tax the law requires is shown at checkout.

5. 5. Start

   Start has no monthly fee for its first 2 months. During that time we take 20% of what your customers pay through the portal, at the moment they pay, never more than £149 in a calendar month. At the end of that time the portal moves to a paid plan; you can cancel before then by writing to [email protected].

6. 6. Free time on Pro and Network

   Pro and Network start with a free period, shown at checkout before you confirm. Your card is checked when you sign up and nothing is charged before the free period ends.

7. 7. Why we check your card

   A portal costs us a database, a certificate, storage and the reputation of our email. A free address with a valid certificate is what abusers look for, and one bad portal can get every portal warned by browsers. A checked card stops repeated free starts and lets the move to a paid plan happen without anyone chasing. Nothing is charged at sign-up.

8. 8. Billing

   Plans and add-ons are billed monthly in advance on the 1st of each month. Files over your plan's allowance are billed after the month, as used. Paying yearly is offered for the plan alone: twelve months for the price of 12. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. Invoices are issued by TUNING DATABASE SRL.

9. 9. Price changes Accepted expressly

   A price rise reaches you only after at least 30 days' notice, sent to your email with the old and the new price, and you keep the old price for one more month after the rise takes effect. You may cancel before a rise reaches you. A price cut applies to you on the day it is published.

10. 10. Your portal and your customers

    The data in your portal belongs to your business: your customers, your jobs, your files and your prices. For your customers' personal data we act on your instructions as your processor; the Your data page and our data processing agreement say how. We enter your portal only with your permission, and every entry is logged where you can see it.

11. 11. Using the service lawfully

    You use the portal only for lawful work and you are responsible for following the law where you and your customers work, including the rules that apply to vehicles. We may pause a portal that is used to break the law or to attack others, and we tell you why.

12. 12. Running the service

    We aim to keep your portal running at all times, back it up every day and update it without interrupting your work. Planned maintenance is announced in advance when it can affect you.

13. 13. Limitation of liability Accepted expressly

    Our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in those twelve months. We are not liable for indirect loss, for lost profit or for loss of data beyond restoring it from our backups. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.

14. 14. Cancelling and leaving

    You may cancel at any time by writing to [email protected]; the service runs to the end of the month you paid for. When you leave you receive a full export of your customers, jobs and files, at no charge. Thirty days after you leave your files are deleted.

15. 15. Changes to these terms

    A change to these terms reaches you the same way as a price rise: at least 30 days' notice by email, and you may cancel before it applies.

16. 16. Law and courts

    Romanian law governs these terms. Any dispute goes to the competent courts of Romania.
