How does Start cost nothing a month?
Start has no monthly fee. For the first 2 months we take 20% of what your customers pay through the portal, never more than £149 in a month; then you move to the package that fits.
What happens when a package passes its files?
Nothing stops. Each file over is billed after the month: £1.50 on Solo, £1 on Pro, 75p on Business, less on the larger packages.
Is there a free trial?
The first month of Pro is free. Every other package is paid from the day you start, for the days left until the 1st, then on every 1st.
Can I pay for a year?
Yes: twelve months paid at once, at the same price as paying monthly.
Can I run it on my own server?
Yes, with any package from Solo up: a set-up from £699 per server, then the package and server care each month, from £49.
Do you decrypt KESS3 and AutoTuner files?
Yes, in every plan. An Alientech or AutoTuner file is decrypted only if it is locked; a plain bench or boot read goes straight to your tuner.
What does the portal read from a file?
The hardware number, the software number and the ECU family, and it fills in the car for you.
What happens when the same car comes back?
If you tuned the same software for the same work before, the file goes out at once, after checks, with a 24 hour undo.
Which vehicles does it handle?
Cars and vans, trucks, machinery, motorbikes and marine.
What is a dealer portal?
A portal in your dealer's name, with their own customers. The files come to you, and you decide what each dealer can see, sell and do.
What does a dealer portal cost?
Each dealer portal is £29 a month, or £59 for Dealer Pro, on the Network plan's bill.
Can my dealers and I talk on a job?
Yes. A dealer's customer writes on a job and you read it; your answer, and the reason when you turn a file down, go back to the dealer.
Can I bring the files I already have?
Yes: folders, batch uploads and WinOLS projects go into your library, searchable by software, hardware and ECU.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes: yourname.tunerengine.com from day one, or your own domain.
Can my customers pay me directly?
Yes. Payments go to your own payment account, never through us, by card or from a credit wallet.
How do people sign in?
With a password and a second step from an app or an email code, which you can make compulsory for staff, customers or both, or with their Google account.
Who sees what?
Owners, tuners, technicians and customers each see only what they can use.
Who backs it up?
We do: backups and updates every day, without you lifting a finger.
Where do bookings come from?
From your website, the phone and the assistant, all in one calendar.
Can my staff see who is in?
Yes: the staff rota shows who is in and who is booked, with holidays counted.
Is the diary in my phone?
Yes: in your phone's calendar, with a morning reminder.
What does a website cost?
From £300, quoted before we build: a design from our portfolio made yours, or one designed from scratch.
Does it connect to my portal?
Yes. Bookings, live chat and call-back requests from the website arrive in the portal, next to your jobs.
Can I keep the website I have?
Yes. Bookings, live chat and call-backs from your own website can arrive in the portal the same way.
