How does Start cost nothing a month?
Start has no monthly fee. For the first 2 months it takes 20% of what your customers pay you through the portal, before tax, billed on the 1st after the month; then you move to the package that fits.
What happens when a package passes its files?
Nothing stops. Each file over is billed after the month: £1.50 on Solo, £1 on Pro, 75p on Business, less on the larger packages.
My customers pay in euros or dollars. How is Start's share counted?
In pounds, at our published rate: sales in euros count at €1 = £0.86, in dollars at $1 = £0.78. The share is worked out on what your customers paid you in the month, before tax.
Is there a free trial?
Start is the free way in: no monthly fee, 20% of what your customers pay you, before tax, for the first 2 months. Every other package is paid from the day you start: this month in full, or only the days left if the 1st is less than 10 days away, then on every 1st.
Can I pay for a year?
Yes: twelve months paid at once, at the same price as paying monthly.
Can I run it on my own server?
Yes, with any package from Solo up: a set-up from £699 per server, then the package and server care each month, from £49.
