How do CMD Flash files work on a file portal?
CMD Flash reads come to your portal like any other file: one order page, one queue, and the tuned file delivered on the same job.
In short
A CMD Flash read uploads on your portal and lands on one job in your queue. The file is kept as it came, your tuner opens it in your own tool, and the tuned file goes back on the same job.
What is CMD Flash?
CMD is the programming tool made by Flashtec, used for reading and writing ECUs over OBD, on the bench and through BDM. Shops that work on trucks, machinery and older units often have one alongside their main tool, which is why a file service tends to see it from a smaller group of experienced customers.
How does a CMD customer send a file?
They sign in on your portal, upload the read and choose the work on one page. The portal fills in what the file says, and the customer adds the rest. Because a portal covers every kind of vehicle, a truck or a tractor goes through the same order page as a car, with your own price for that vehicle type.

What happens to the file on your side?
It arrives on a job in your queue. Your tuner downloads it, opens it in your own tool and does the work. Decrypting inside the portal is for a master on Alientech or AutoTuner, so a CMD file is kept exactly as it came and nothing is done to it on the way.
When the tuned file is uploaded, the customer is told it is ready by email, WhatsApp or Telegram, and downloads it from the job.
Why charge differently for a truck or tractor file?
Because the work is different. Your price list holds your prices per ECU and per vehicle type, so a customer sees the right price for their job before they pay, and nobody has to ask.
